Easily Fix Your iPad From Water Damage With DRY-ALL
If you own an iPad or iPhone then more than likely you are highly concerned about keeping everything wet away from your prized Apple possession.
Because everyone in the world knows that water and electronic devices do not mix, with most encounters usually resulting in a trashed device. Water damage is especially irritating because most insurance companies don’t even cover it, with the exception of the Worth Ave Group, if you get your iPad damaged then you’re probably screwed.Well now there seems to be a solution to the problem of water damage with the Wet Electronic Tablet Emergency Kit from DRY-ALL. If you haven’t heard of DRY-ALL, they are a company that is already established with making a line of products that are made especially for drying out water damaged electronics. The Wet Electronic Tablet Emergency Kit uses a drying agent that is supposed to absorb all of the moisture, hence completely drying out your iPad or iPhone.
I know I have personally dropped a few phones into the swimming pool and urinal, and have had minimal success while trying to dry them out. I’ve used everything from sitting my devices in the sun, blow drying them out and even sitting them in rice, but nothing seems to really work. However, the DRY-ALL approach seems to be a good solution since their Blue Bead technology essentially absorbs the moisture directly from the air.
Now we haven’t personally tested out the Wet Electronic Tablet Emergency Kit from DRY-All, but the company brags that they have a 100% success rate when exactly following the directions. I know from personal experience that nothing is 100%, but the price for the kit runs about $40, which is much cheaper than buying another iPhone or iPad. However, I would personally spend the money on insurance from the Worth Ave Group before the water damage even occurs. But that’s just me…

Fashion from the Consumer Electronic Trade Show
The beautiful handcrafted Victoria Pearl by Novero is something that you would expect to see inside a jewelry exhibit – not the Consumer Electronics trade show and that’s exactly why it made our Best of CES list! As a symbol of solid German engineering fused with traditional craftmanship, the Victoria Pearl doubles as a beautiful necklace and a state of the art bluetooth / hands-free device.

Arcade Game
Beginning as an April fool’s joke, a fake miniature arcade game was imagined to hold an iPad connecting it to a joystick and its buttons, which are common to a retro arcade game.
The idea of the iCade was such a success; it has been now made into a reality. ThinkGeek teamed up with ION Audio and Atari to bring the iCade to market. The desktop iPad cradle was officially unveiled at CES 2011. The iCade’s controls connect to the iPad via Bluetooth so it is just as easy as gently placing your iPad into the cabinet and “Insert Coin”.
Atari will have classic games available via the App Store with iCade support built in – including Asteroids. In addition an easy to implement API will be made available to developers allowing iCade support to be added to almost any game.
The iCade is priced at $99.00 US.
